It's my favorite time of the year! I am so excited to share with you today my 2015 Holiday Home Tour, hosted by the very talented The Avery Grace.
Typically, I am a very neutral colored, minimal person. I love wearing black & grey almost every day and my theory with our home is to keep everything very neutral - a grey couch, light grey blue walls, cream rug, and then add pops of color in here and there with accessories. But, when Christmas time comes around all bets are off because suddenly I become a crazed person who needs ALL the glitter, ALL the trees, and ALL THE CHRISTMAS!
I'll be honest, it's a little nerve-wracking getting your home ready and Pinterest-y cute enough for real life pictures to be taken of it, but my bestie Megan, came over to take the pictures and help me style everything and it turned in to such a fun day! A new tradition perhaps, Meg?

A favorite family tradition of ours is baking sugar cookies on Christmas Eve! We're not terribly great bakers, but we have a lot of fun acting like we are. And we always have Elf on in the background playing! The best Christmas movie ever. For the shoot, I decided to bake Anne Burrell's famous Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies. They are to DIE for and also Taylor Swift's favorite cookie. ;) I can almost promise that if you bake them for your next holiday party, you'll be the most popular person there.

And I couldn't leave out my sweet little family! Chase, Nash, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas season!
